If you have a serial number and not a username and password for NOD32 renewal, you must register the serial to activate the license prior.
Step 1 - Making sure you have the necessary information  

You should have received an email from ESET with regards to your license details. have it handy or print it out if you need to. It will contain details as noted in the above sample

Step 2 opening the NOD32 Control Center  

Open up NOD32 Control Center indicated by the NOD32 icon (left picture) on the lower right hand corner of your taskbar by clicking on it. The control center will appear as shown in the picture (right picture) above

Step 3 - Selecting the right tab  

Click on the update tab and select the update sub-tab. Upon clicking the update sub-tab you will see the update details on the right pane . click on the Setup button.

 
Step 4 - keying in the new username and password  

Upon clicking the setup button, you will see the above screen. Key in your new username and password (underline in red) as indicated in the email sent to you. Click ok when you are done.

 
Step 5 -  Updating NOD32 using the new username and password  

Once you have keyed in the new license details, click on the update now button to receive new updates and upgrades. Should you receive and error indicating a username/password error, this means you have keyed in the details incorrectly.
